Sampling, contest and coupon program for grocery retail store at UC Cal Rec Sports student event.
Working with a media colleague, a bargain brand retail grocery store wanted to boost its sales and awareness with UC Cal Berkeley students. A sampling and coupon program was developed targeted to students. The retailer was exposed to over 30,000 students attending opening day festivities. A contest was developed that resulted in media coverage on KRON-4 and in numerous Bay Area newspapers. In addition, through the same media colleague he produced a video and provided additional multi-media support as well as strategy for these activities.
